When you create an account with VisaSlotWatch, we collect:

- Subscription status and plan entitlements (payment details are processed securely through Stripe)

To provide our monitoring service, we collect:
- Embassy locations you choose to monitor
- Appointment availability data (dates and times only)
- Monitoring frequency preferences
- Notification delivery status (no message content stored)
Browser Session Data
🔒 Important Security Note:
We never store your visa website login credentials. Our extension only accesses appointment data through your existing browser session when you're already logged in. Your passwords and personal visa information remain secure and private.
- Session tokens (temporary, for accessing appointment data)
- Optional auto-login credentials stored locally on your device only, encrypted at rest
- Browser extension usage statistics
- Error logs (for troubleshooting, containing no personal data)
Auto-login is optional and available on Professional (T2) and Power User (T3) plans only. If you enable it, your credentials stay encrypted on your device and are never sent to our servers.
How We Use Information
Service Provision
We use your information to:
- Monitor visa appointment availability at your selected embassies
- Authenticate your access to our services
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Provide customer support and technical assistance
Notifications
We use your contact information to:
- Send appointment availability alerts via your preferred channels
- Notify you of service updates or maintenance
- Send billing and subscription-related communications
- Provide important security or policy updates

- Telegram - chat ID and message content (when you connect Telegram)
- Slack - workspace connection and message content (when you connect Slack)
Desktop notifications are handled locally in your browser and are not sent to third-party providers.
Analytics (Optional)
We may use privacy-focused analytics tools to understand service usage patterns. This data is aggregated and anonymized, containing no personally identifiable information.
Your Rights
Access Your Data
You can request confirmation of the email address associated with your account. We do not currently provide a data export feature.
Data Deletion
You can close your account at any time. When you do, we immediately anonymize your email address in our authentication and customer records while retaining non-identifiable analytics or operational data. This includes:
- Email address stored in authentication and customer records
- Account preferences and monitoring settings (retained without personal identifiers)
- Billing history (retained for legal compliance periods only)
Data Portability
We do not currently offer a data export feature. Please save any information you need before closing your account.
Opt-Out Rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
- Disable specific notification channels while keeping others active
- Pause monitoring without losing your account or settings
