VisaSlotWatch v1.1.5 Is Live: Better Reliability, Clearer Status, Stronger Embassy Detection

2 min read

VisaSlotWatch v1.1.5 is now live with improved rate-limit handling, clearer monitoring status messages, and stronger embassy detection and mapping reliability.

We have now published VisaSlotWatch Chrome Extension v1.1.5.

This release focuses on monitoring reliability and clearer user feedback, especially for users affected by portal rate limiting.

What improved in v1.1.5

1) Better rate-limit handling

When the portal keeps rate-limiting requests, v1.1.5 now handles supported scenarios more gracefully with a cooldown-and-resume behavior, instead of immediately feeling like monitoring has failed.

2) Clearer monitoring status messages

We improved status wording in the extension so users can more easily tell the difference between:

  • temporary retry/cooldown states

  • monitoring stopped states that need user action

3) Stronger embassy detection and mapping reliability

We improved embassy detection and mapping behavior with more robust dynamic resolution and better compatibility with embassy naming/code variations.

This helps reduce failures caused by embassy identity mismatches.

Do you need to update manually?

In most cases, no. Chrome should auto-update the extension to v1.1.5 automatically.

If you want to update immediately:

  1. Uninstall your current VisaSlotWatch extension

  2. Reinstall from the Chrome Web Store

For users who previously reported rate-limit issues

If you previously saw monitor interruptions related to rate limiting (for example, repeated retries ending in stop), please update to v1.1.5 and test again.

If the issue still happens for your setup, contact us and include your report ID so we can investigate quickly.
